Greenslade Taylor Hunt are pleased to announce record prime lamb numbers for the week ending 24th May 2011, when a fantastic entry of 3114 head were sold. This was a staggering 31.6% more than the second largest market in England at 2347.

Throughput for the month of May was a colossal 22.68 % up on the corresponding period in 2010, when 14693 head were penned. Record prices outside of special shows were set, to top. Improved lamb selection when looting,hence encouraging exporters and the increasing local butcher and home trade.
 
As the Market has the latest modern facilities and the capability to pick ,sort and weigh large bunches of lambs (up to 37head) queues are kept  down to a minimum. Vendors with smaller bunches are also welcomed.
