Higher Southwood Farm Dispersal

Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt were on farm at Exeter, Devon for the Dispersal of Cyril and Ann Emmett’s commercial dairy herd. A very well attended sale commenced with the dairy equipment with the 2500l Alpha Laval Bulk Tank selling for £1050.
Fresh milk was in strong demand selling to 1700gns for the July calved heifer by Ganvo Alexander, the 30kg June calved heifer by Gleetman sold for 1650gns as did the Dengate Centurion daughter.
Incalf heifers met a blistering trade selling to 1600gns for another “Ganvo Alexander” daughter due to the Simmental stock bull in September.
The Pedigree Simmental bull “Heywood Vanquer” bred by David Barker created interest selling for 2040gns.
