New Face for Bridgwater
February 2012
Martyn Venner
Aspiring young auctioneer and Chartered Surveyor, Martyn Venner, has just been promoted by leading firm of Chartered Surveyors, estate agents and auctioneers, Greenslade Taylor Hunt, to head up the firm’s prestigious Bridgwater office.
It is a great accolade for 30 year old Venner, BSc (Hons) MRICS, and coincides with his recent appointment as an Associate of the firm in recognition of his successful track record so far. He has been with GTH for eight years, qualifying as a fully fledged Chartered Surveyor in 2007.
‘Specialising in the sale of residential and rural property and professional valuation work, Martyn will be a great asset offering new avenues of expertise in the Bridgwater office which we anticipate will go from strength to strength under his guidance,’ says GTH Chairman, Neil Biffen.
Martyn is also well know in the area for selling livestock at the thriving Sedgemoor Market Centre on Junction 24. As a second generation valuer and auctioneer with strong West Country roots, auctioneering and rural affairs are in his blood and moving from the busy Taunton office he hopes to put his specialist rural expertise to good use in his new position based in the High Street, Bridgwater: "I am delighted to be made an Associate of the firm and it is an honour to be running an office at such a young age. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and with my rural background I will be working to promote the sale of farms, land and rural property widening the scope of this previously residentially focused office.”
