Burnham On Sea Area Guide

Where is Burnham-on-Sea?

A thriving seaside town at the mouth of the River Parrett and Bridgwater Bay, Burnham-on-Sea enjoys the second longest strip of sand in Europe with several great beaches.

Starting life as a small fishing village, Burnham-on-Sea has a rich history dating back to the Roman times. Now it is a charming seaside town, great for families with lots to explore including the lighthouses, stone pier and even Brean Theme Park. Burnham-on-Sea also has the advantage of being positioned at the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels and moors, as well as offering 42 acres of Apex Leisure and Wildlife Park to be enjoyed whilst relaxing or wildlife watching.
