Joint Auctioneers GTH & Gwilym Richards were favoured with instruction to disperse the Stbridesvalley Herd for Lyndon, Graham & Tryphena Williams from Monmouth.  Their decision to move their cows to Sedgemoor was rewarded with excellent support from the Welsh and English alike.

November Calved Heifers due in October out of a 13,268kgs dam from the Patsy family topped the day at 2150gns. The early February calved cow by Sahara Baloo and classified VG85 sold for 2100gns having given over 10,000kgs as a heifer she was now fresh again giving 50kgs. A further eight animals sold for in excess of £2000.
 
The sale included a handful of Channel Islands one of which a fresh third lactation Guernsey sold for 1900gns, with jersey heifer’s at 1200gns.

Incalf heifers sold to 1680gns for a Brewmaster daughter who was due in May to the Hereford and backed by the renowned Echo family. Others 1650gns and 1620gns. Guernsey served heifer to 820gns and Jersey served heifers to 720gns.
