A small entry for this year’s Autumn Show & Sale produced bulls to 3400gns and females to 1400gns.  The show was judged by David Barker of the Efford Down herd whose reserve male champion Priorton Victory born April 2020 from John May, by the prolific show winner Dira Halcyon Ex93 topped the day at 3400gns selling to Washingpool Farms.   The champion bull from Steve Cleverdon was Coombe Fieldsman a great grandson of Assirati Ex92 who sold to the Wadhayes herd of Mr RT Willmington of Honiton for 2100gns.  Females sold to 1400gns for the champion heifer Tregullow Fergie 5th by Bollowal Trevithick a February 2019 born heifer incalf to Champson Enterprise Ex92 she was consigned by Mr JP Williams and purchased Messrs Pardoe & Sons who also secured the reserve champion from the same vendor at 1200gns. Maiden heifers that were not shown sold to 1120gns for Scotland Sunbeam 5th from Mrs H Darwin.

The day incorporated the Sedgemoor Multibreed Beef Day which produced Limousin bulls to 3100gns for the 2018 born Killerton Ostend from Columbjohn Farm Ltd of Exeter Devon, Aberdeen Angus Bulls at 2100gns for Estcott Poacher V017 from B Sellick.   Cows and calves sold for 2500gns for Mr T Hilsdon’s pedigree Limousin Poole Hatty and her bull calf Poole Saracen.   Commercial Limm x cows and heifer calves at foot from Mr KL Stone at £1700, with Herford x cows and steer calf at £1500 for the same vendor.
