Helen has a lifelong interest in antiques, particularly jewellery, and as a youngster used to attend the London markets with her aunt who was an avid collector.
Helen’s love of jewellery flourished further when she began her career in a High Street retail jewellers, which made bespoke items and carried out repairs.
“I love the history of antiques, especially jewellery, said Helen, who lists Art Deco and Victorian designs as among her favourites.
Before joining Greenslade Taylor Hunt Helen ran a successful jewellery, silver and watch department for another auction house.
She also has a penchant for silver and the charms of costume jewellery. In fact Helen appreciates jewellery from all eras.
She is particularly delighted with a diamond and ruby pendant necklace, which will feature in the antiques sale on December 2.
This early 20th century old cut diamond ruby and seed pearl bow pendant drop, set in platinum and gold has a pre-sale guide of £650-£850 and would be top of many a Christmas gift wish list.
