Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt have enjoyed a superb start to 2019 with a spectacular January antiques sale kicking off proceedings.
Now the auctioneers are laying on extra valuation sessions to meet demand. In addition to the established Monday morning event, where no appointment is necessary the auctioneers will be providing by appointment slots on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at The Octagon Salerooms, East Reach, Taunton.
These mornings offer the ideal opportunity to have all types of antiques valued including jewellery, clocks, silver and watches.
Experts are also available to look at a comprehensive range of other items including glass, ceramics, collectables, decorative arts and paintings.
The next antiques sale takes place on Thursday, February 7, from 10am. It will be on view this Saturday, February 2.
It will be followed on Saturday, February 9, by a special collectables valuation morning presided over by enthusiast Dr Peter Rixon, who is a keen collector himself.
The pace doesn’t slacken as antique valuers from The Octagon Salerooms will be visiting the offices of GTH with Chanin & Thomas at 8 The Parade, Minehead on Wednesday, February 13, between 10am and 12 noon.
It is a convenient opportunity for potential vendors to receive free verbal valuations and advice on antiques and collectables from expert valuers without the need to traipse into Taunton.
The monthly Minehead events are also the perfect time to bring in ceramics, glassware, books, toys, collectables, paintings, oriental works of art, clocks, furniture and 20th Century design items.
The sessions will also provide the chance for vendors to consign entries to the regular antique, collectors’ and sporting sales.
Other valuation dates at Minehead have been set for March 13, and April 10.
