Today we bid a fond farewell to Mollie Gillard, who has spent the past year working in our Burnham-on-Sea office. Mollie joined us for her undergraduate placement year from Harper Adams University and quickly proved a valuable member of the team.

Jeremy Bell, Partner, notes: "Mollie's enthusiasm and keenness to learn and absorb knowledge from every project she was involved in has shone through. We will miss her bubbly personality in the office but know that she will go on to great things following her final year at university."

Mollie's year took in a wide ranging set of task and projects and added valuable 'real world' experience to her learning. Each of our graduates, including student placements, have a unique opportunity to learn the day to day surveying role from some of the best surveyor’s in the business. We support a work-based learning approach providing our graduates with a thorough understanding of becoming a Chartered Surveyor through specialising in one of our departments and progressing towards membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and completing the assessment of professional competence (APC).

Mollie comments: "After being with Greenslade Taylor Hunt for the past 12 months I have had a fantastic experience assisting the team with valuations, planning applications, landlord & tenant, utility work and all things rural agency. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at GTH and it has provided the opportunity to apply technical knowledge learned in the lecture theatre into the professional working environment together with a fun working atmosphere.

I begin my final year studying Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University in October which I am excited for and to apply the knowledge gained whilst at GTH. But before the hard work begins, I will spending my summer in the Somerset countryside with my horse, training my Labrador puppy, catching up with family and friends who I haven’t been able to see due to lockdown and hopefully jet off to Greece! I would like to thank everyone at GTH for a great year."

We wish you all the very best for the future, Mollie!
