Since the government announced their plans to ease the restrictions on the property market, we have been putting procedures in place to ensure that when we open our offices up again, it will be done so safely.
The health and safety of our staff and clients is our absolute priority, and while we are hoping to get the South West moving once more, we can only do so with strict measures in place.
Our teams have been working remotely behind the scenes to ensure your property has been visible to potential buyers throughout lockdown, hoping to continue generating interest ready for when restrictions would be eased.
Now we have arrived where we are able to get things (and you!) moving again, and begin to hold viewings. As sellers, we do ask that when viewings are held at your property, you follow a set of guidelines. A summary of these are:
- Please disinfect internal and external door handles before and after.
- Open all the internal doors prior to the viewing.
- During an agent accompanied viewing, we kindly ask that you vacate the house and stand in the garden, or stay in a car or outbuilding during poor weather conditions.
These guidelines are to protect you, the viewers, and our staff. These viewings can only be carried out if we all work together to safeguard one another.
We are still asking potential buyers to study floorplans, photos, and virtual walk through* (where applicable) before requesting a viewing. Each request will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, and we will keep you in the loop at all times.
So what's next?
Please bear with us while our teams are working hard to respond to a backlog of interest. A member of your local office will be in touch in the coming weeks to discuss with you any viewings, or to touch base on the sale of your property.
If you need to discuss any concerns or queries in the mean time, then please do not hesitate to give us a call. We are here to help.
*Virtual Viewings. We have a number of options to market your house online. We have access to 3D digital technology to give potential buyers an in-depth viewing of your property from their computer or phone. Alternatively, have you considered filming a walk through of your house? Speak to your local agent for more information.
