EXPERIENCED lettings professional Susi Kennedy has just been appointed to head up the Lettings Department at Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s flourishing Wells office in the heart of the city.

Susi has a wealth of knowledge of the lettings industry and has worked in the firm’s flagship Taunton office for the past two years where she was responsible for managing a large portfolio of properties.

She is delighted to have won promotion to lead the lettings team at Wells and is looking forward to establishing long-term relationships with landlords.

Susi said: "I feel very privileged and excited to be joining the GTH team in Wells. I’m very much looking forward to meeting all of our existing landlords and to offering the GTH service to potential new ones."

Greenslade Taylor Hunt is a long established firm with branches throughout Somerset, Devon and Dorset. It is a member of ARLA – the Association of Residential Lettings Agents. This key body offers peace  of mind to both landlords and tenants as all members must follow a  strict code of conduct and adhere to the highest standards.
Sadly some sectors of the lettings market have a poor reputation – after all anybody can open an office and set up as an agent.

At Greenslade Taylor Hunt experience counts and Susi, who has extensive knowledge of the lettings market, is keen to share her comprehensive expertise with landlords across the Wells area.

She is offering a “free advice centre” where she is inviting landlords to contact her regarding all aspects of the lettings process. She can offer free impartial advice and a service tailored to the  individual landlords particular needs.

Sonia Matthews, FARLA MAPIP MNAEA, Associate who heads the Lettings Division at Greenslade Taylor Hunt, said: “I worked very closely with Susi in the Taunton office and am very pleased that she has gained promotion to manager of the Wells office.

“Her experience will prove an added benefit to the already extremely  busy residential office and I have no doubt that she will provide an exceptional service to all her existing clients as well as a professional and secure service to all new landlords and tenants."

“Whether it be an investment property or your own home, it is always a good idea to seek out an agent who knows the legislation and can handle all aspects of the let, Susi has that knowledge which is a huge advantage in the continued development of the Wells office."

Susi, who lives in Cheddar, is particularly keen to hear from landlords with properties in Wells and the surrounding areas. The office covers a wide geographical area encompassing Wells, Shepton Mallet and Frome as well as Cheddar, Glastonbury, Street and Castle Cary, plus the villages in between.

All types of property are in demand from “starter homes” and apartments to exclusive individual homes.

Finding the right tenant starts with finding the right agent. The property professionals at Greenslade Taylor Hunt all have the necessary knowledge to steer landlords away from any potential pitfalls and to make the process as painless and profitable as possible.

There are no hidden “extras.” Legal protection cover is fully inclusive for GTH managed properties – many agents charge additional fees. This gives landlords the security and peace of mind that should a tenancy go awry they will be able to recover their costs rather than launch a lengthy court process with no guarantee of receiving their money at the end.
