He joined the firm in October 2017 working alongside the late Charles Clark in Chard. He has been based there ever since, running a small team covering all aspects of general professional rural surveying work.
Philip also runs a smallholding of beef cattle and sheep so is well-placed to understand the needs of farmers and the rural community.
Before joining GTH as an Associate Philip worked for a well-respected national firm for more than nine years. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers. He has also chaired the Western Counties Agricultural Valuers Association and is a committee member of the Somerset branch of the Agricultural Law Association.
He provides a wide range of rural consultancy advice and agency services to landowners, businesses, farmers, developers, other professionals and more throughout the South West.
Philip is married to Suse and they have a nine-year-old son, Bertie and a seven-year-old daughter, Zara.
In his spare time he coaches mini rugby at North Petherton Rugby Football Club and enjoys all rural pursuits.
