A familiar face will be working alongside long-serving consultant chartered surveyor and valuer Max Southwell at Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s Yeovil office.
Chartered surveyor, Fiona Rowswell MRICS, has joined the firm having been employed by Max when starting her career in the property world with RB Taylors in Martock – one of the predecessor companies that formed Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
She has also worked with GTH in Ilminster where Charles Clark, now Chairman of Greenslade Taylor Hunt, took her under his wing acting as her supervisor whilst Fiona undertook her APC.
Fiona secured her degree while combining working at RB Taylors with day release at the University of the West of England. She then spent two years gaining her APC – Assessment of Professional Competence.
The APC ensures candidates meet the high standards of professionalism required to become a chartered surveyor.
Fiona specialises in all aspects of residential surveying work, including mortgage valuations and covers a wide geographical area through Somerset, Dorset and Devon.
She has been on a career break, while raising her family and has also been involved in property development.
“I decided now was the right time to return to surveying and Greenslade Taylor Hunt felt like the right place to be,” she said.
Fiona works on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can be contacted on 01935 423474.
