A property professional who began his burgeoning career on a range of work experience placements with Greenslade Taylor Hunt has now joined the firm’s Development Land and Planning Department.

James Nelson MRICS grew up in Taunton and carried out extensive work experience with the property partnership before moving to Bristol to embark on a degree in real estate.

James graduated with a first class honours degree from the University of the West of England and then worked at property consultancy CBRE in Bristol for three years where he gained his chartered surveyor qualification and RICS registered valuer status.

He is now part of the Development Land and Planning Department providing a comprehensive range of development agency, consultancy, valuation and strategic land work with Mark Chugg MRICS, a Partner in the department.

In his spare time James is actively involved with the Somerset Carnival circuit and is a member of Harlequin Carnival Club, Ilminster. He is also a member of the Scouts.
