Deal Sealed on Residential Site Close to Coast

Development land and planning experts Greenslade Taylor Hunt are delighted to announce the successful sale of an attractive residential development site at Stratton, near Bude, Cornwall, for up to 30 homes.

The development team provided advice in relation to the Promotion Agreement with Strawberryfield Park Limited before marketing the site with outline planning consent for up to 30 homes.

A flurry of offers were submitted on deadline tender day with Burrington Estates emerging as the successful bidder, securing the deal for an undisclosed price.

Among those working for the seller’s team were Mark Chugg and James Nelson, both of GTH, Richard Walford, Ben Luxton and Zilah Nelson (all of Michelmores) Mike Pearce, Strawberryfield Park Limited and Tom Bowes, Chubb Bulleid solicitors.

The buyer’s team included Clyde Lambert, Burrington Estates, and James Heath and Claire Ottery, both of Ashfords LLP.

The picturesque site is on the Southern fringe of Stratton, close to the town centre. Stratton is a thriving town, while its larger neighbour, Bude, sits amidst the rugged North Cornwall coastline making it a favourite with those wanting to enjoy the plethora of leisure opportunities this spectacular coastline affords.
