Potential Residential Development Land

September 2022

A piece of land strategically located in the centre of an East Devon village could be a suitable candidate for development according to planning experts Greenslade Taylor Hunt.

The development land and planning specialists believe the land at Manor Green, Upottery, near Honiton, which extends to 0.5 acres (0.2 hectares) could be an ideal location for housing.

The land, situated off Manor Green – an adopted cul-de-sac of four homes, is abutted on three sides by other residential properties and to the east by a recreation ground.

Greenslade Taylor Hunt has suggested to East Devon District Council that the land should be allocated for housing – either as a rural exception site for affordable housing or an open market site, subject to the grant of planning permission.

Currently the site is not earmarked in the East Devon Local Plan for planning permission or allocated for development.

The land is being offered for sale on an unconditional basis, at a guide price of offers in the region of £100,000.

The deadline for the submission of offers is 12 noon on Friday, October 21, 2022. For more information and to arrange a viewing please contact the Development Land and Planning Department on 01823 334466 or email mark.chugg@gth.net or james.nelson@gth.net
