The site at Home Farm, Compton Street, Compton Dundon, has detailed planning permission to build a range of eight open market homes.
The village sits in a picturesque part of Somerset, overlooked by the Polden Hills to the East and bordering the Somerset Levels to the West.
The proposed scheme is close to the centre of the popular village, which has a range of useful facilities.
The detailed planning permission granted by South Somerset District Council in December 2019 allows for eight homes – two two-bedroom properties, a three-bedroom home and four four-bedroom dwellings. They will consist of a mix of semi-detached, detached linked and detached properties.
The site is located on the Eastern edge of the village and extends to1.56 acres (0.63 hectares). It comprises a farmyard with a range of traditional and modern agricultural buildings.
The seller will demolish the existing farm buildings between the date of exchange of contracts and the completion date of the sale of the site.
The existing farmhouse, annexe and Plot 2 are being retained by the vendor and are excluded from the sale.
The deadline for the submission of offers is 12noon on Friday, November 6, 2020.
