Time to Act if you Have Land in East Devon

It has recently been confirmed that East Devon District Council cannot demonstrate a five year supply of deliverable housing sites.

This provides a short-term opportunity whereby the council will be under pressure to grant planning permission for new housing developments, even where they are not in strict accordance with its Local Plan policies.

Sites that are situated within or adjoining the built up area of towns and villages, with reasonable access to local services and facilities are likely to be considered favorably by the council at the current time.
