The Development Land and Planning team at property partnership Greenslade Taylor Hunt are celebrating the conclusion of three projects in South Molton.

The experienced team has sold brownfield and greenfield sites within the town for residential development on behalf of a diverse range of landowners following painstaking work over a number of years.

Among the sites sold were The Old Tannery, Beech House and land West of Parklands.

The residential development site at Beech House, North Road, South Molton, had detailed planning permission for 21 open market homes. The agents were inviting offers in the region of £850,000 for the 1.21 acre site on the edge of town.

The historic Old Tannery site in the centre of South Molton has also been approved for regeneration for much-needed housing.

Planners at North Devon Council have approved the conversion of existing buildings at The Old Tannery, East Street, South Molton, to create 14 new homes along with seven new dwellings and associated works.

Finally a prime residential development site extending to 12.48 acres, with outline planning permission to build 144 new homes, at Parklands has been sold. This greenfield site has been bought by Kier Community Living for an undisclosed sum.

The land West of Parklands, South Molton, abuts the built-up area of the town and is close to the South Molton United Church of England Primary School, which is rated “good” by Ofsted.

The team at Greenslade Taylor Hunt advises on projects and planning developments across the South West.
