Lettings Manager with a Passion for Property

Tricia Donovan MARLA, is ideally placed to help landlords and tenants through the lettings process as she is an experienced landlord herself.
She can guide them through the intricacies of the process, but can also assist landlords on a personal level to identify the correct tenants for a particular property.
““I always say to landlords when I am placing tenants that I would only recommend them if I would be happy for them to live in my property,“ said Tricia, who is Lettings Manager at the Yeovil branch of Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
Tricia has worked in property for over 20 years, originally with a property developer in the South East, as well as independent and corporate companies and has always had a passion for lettings.
Early in her career she had a portfolio of lettings properties, but sold that on before relocating to Somerset for her husband’s job.
“I particularly enjoy the relationship you build up with landlords. Letting properties is quicker than a residential sale, but the professional relationship is longer term,” said Tricia, who has recently regained her MARLA letting qualification after joining GTH in December 2020.
She qualified back in 2000, but recently refreshed her knowledge and updated her qualification, which is overseen by ARLA Propertymark – the professional industry body committed to driving up standards in the property sector.
Members are qualified and undertake regular training to ensure they are up to date with the latest legislation and best practice. They abide by a nationally recognised Code of Practice.
In her spare time Tricia is an enthusiastic and accomplished baker. During 2022 she has committed to raise £500 through her baking skills for Young Lives vs Cancer. Every day 12 children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. The charity provides support for youngsters coping with the disease and their families.
