“Mystery shoppers” put staff at the branch at Broad Street, South Molton, through their paces and assessed 25 different criteria to rate their customer service – including how emails and phone calls were handled.
The process resulted in a gold award for the branch, rating it top in Devon. It has also been shortlisted for a number of national awards that will be announced later in the year.
