“Mystery shoppers” put staff at the branch at High Street, Wells, through their paces and assessed 25 different criteria to rate their customer service – including how emails and phone calls were handled.
The process resulted in a gold award for the branch, which has been shortlisted for a number of national awards that will be announced later in the year.
Samuel Powell, Residential Manager in charge of the Wells office, said: “We are delighted and proud to have received this award.”
The prize confirms the branch’s own customer feedback. In March a satisfied vendor said: ““We received a service that was far greater than expected and after our previous experience with another agent GTH renewed our faith in the profession.”
Robert McLean, from The British Property Awards, said: “ If an agent has been attributed with one of our awards it is simply down to the fantastic customer service levels that they have demonstrated across a prolonged period of time.
