Greenslade Taylor Hunt report the annual July Breeding Ewe Sale at Sedgemoor Auction Centre saw a reduced entry of 3813 breeding ewes, following very strong finished hogg prices in April/May which saw many ewe hoggs be sold ‘the other way’. Trade was stronger overall than last year particularly for the best ewes however the long period of hot dry weather, which has caused a loss of grass, pegged the trade considerably.
