Please note our procedures for keeping you and our staff safe during appointments.

For VENDORS arranging Market Appraisals

Please Note: It is mandatory that you have read, understood and agreed that you will and can comply with this procedure fully, by confirming to us in writing or by email. We will be unable to proceed with our appointment until we have received this written confirmation from you.


When booking an appointment 

  • You will be asked if you or any member of your household is showing symptoms or has been asked to self-isolate before going ahead with the appointment. 
  • You will be asked if you or any member of your household have been in the presence of anyone showing symptoms or feeling unwell before going ahead with the appointment.
  • Please notify GTH immediately should you or any member of your household develop symptoms in between booking the appointment and the day of the appointment.
  • Our staff will refrain from using the toilet facilities during the appointment. 

Before the appointment 

  • Please wipe down internal and external door handles, handrails and bannister before and after the appointment. 
  • Open all the internal doors prior to the viewing.
  • Ensure the property is vacant of all occupants and ask them to distance themselves in the garden, or reside in an outbuilding or car during poor weather conditions. 

During the appointment 

  • Please maintain a minimum of 2m distance where possible. 
  • We ask that you wear a visor or facemask (homemade or manufactured) when in internal and confined spaces.
  • The valuer who visits your property will use hand sanitiser before and after the appointment and will wear a visor or facemask when inspecting internal and confined spaces
  • The valuer with inspect the property unescorted and will refrain from touching any items or objects as physically possible.
  • Once inspected the valuer will discuss the property outside at a distance of 2m or over the phone when he/she are back in the office. 
  • You have the right to ask the valuer to leave should they refuse to comply with any of the above.

For VENDORS regarding viewings

Please Note: It is mandatory that you have read, understood and agreed that you will and can comply with this procedure fully, by confirming to us in writing or by email. We will be unable to proceed with our appointment until we have received this written confirmation from you. 


IMPORTANT: Please notify GTH immediately should you, any member of your household, or anyone that you have been in recent contact with, develop symptoms in between booking the appointment and the day of the appointment.


Procedure for Vendors during accompanied viewings by GTH 

  • Before and after wipe down internal and external door handles 
  • Open all the internal doors prior to the viewing 
  • During the viewing vacate the house and stand in the garden, or reside in a car or outbuilding during poor weather conditions

Procedure for Vendors conducting viewings 

  • Before and after wipe down internal and external door handles 
  • Allow only 2 people to view the property at any one time. If there are more than two applicants ask them politely to remain in their vehicle 
  • Ask applicants to use head visors or face masks (homemade or manufactured) when viewing internal and confined areas 
  • Ensure the property is vacant of all other occupants and ask them to distance themselves in the garden, or reside in an outbuilding or car during poor weather conditions 
  • Ask applicants to refrain from touching any items where possible 
  • Open all the internal doors prior to the viewing 
  • Maintain a minimum of 2 metres distance wherever possible 
  • Ask applicants to refrain from using the toilet facilities 
  • We ask that you wear a head visor or facemask (homemade or manufactured) when conducting viewings of internal and enclosed areas 
  • You have the right to ask the applicant to leave should they refuse to comply with any of the above

For VENDORS regarding property take-on appointments

Please Note: It is mandatory that you have read, understood and agreed that you will and can comply with this procedure fully, by confirming to us in writing or by email. We will be unable to proceed with our appointment until we have received this written confirmation from you.


When booking a property take-on/launch appointment 

  • You will be asked if you or any member of your household is showing symptoms or has been asked to self-isolate before going ahead with the appointment. 
  • You will be asked if you or any member of your household have been in the presence of anyone showing symptoms or feeling unwell before going ahead with the appointment. 
  • Please notify GTH immediately should you or any member of your household develop symptoms in between booking the appointment and the day of the appointment. 
  • Our staff will refrain from using the toilet facilities during the appointment.

Before the appointment 

  • Please wipe down internal and external door handles, handrails and bannister before and after the appointment. 
  • Open all the internal doors prior to the appointment.
  • Ensure the property is vacant of all occupants and ask them to distance themselves in the garden, or reside in an outbuilding or car during poor weather conditions.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork provided to you by GTH in advance
  • De-clutter and tidy away any belongings in readiness for our photographs, as our agent will wherever possible not handle/move any items during their visit.

During the appointment 

  • Please maintain a minimum of 2m distance where possible at all times. 
  • We ask that you wear a visor or facemask (homemade or manufactured) when in internal and confined spaces. 
  • The agent who visits your property will use hand sanitiser before and after the appointment and will wear a visor or facemask when taking property details in internal and confined spaces 
  • The agent will inspect the property unescorted and will refrain from touching any items or objects as far as physically possible. 
  • Once they have completed the take-on, the agent will discuss any further queries regarding the property outside at a distance of at least 2m or over the phone when they are back in the office. 
  • You have the right to ask the agent to leave should they refuse to comply with any of the above.

For APPLICANTS regarding viewings

Please Note: It is mandatory that you have read, understood and agreed that you will and can comply with this procedure fully, by confirming to us in writing or by email in advance of your appointment. We will be unable to proceed with our appointment until we have received this written confirmation from you.


Viewing Procedure for Applicants

  • You will be asked when booking a viewing if you or anyone you have had contact with is showing symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate. If this situation changes before the day of the viewing, you must notify Greenslade Taylor Hunt by phone immediately before attending. Email confirmation required of the above. 
  • You will be restricted to a maximum of 2 people who must be from the same household. If more turn up on the day, they will be politely asked to remain in their vehicle(s) or leave the premises. 
  • You will be asked to sanitise your hands before and after you view the property 
  • Please bring your own hand sanitiser and facemask or visor (homemade or manufactured) as this must be worn when viewing internal areas or confined spaces 
  • Please stay at least two metres away from non-party members where physically possible 
  • Vendors will endeavour to supply soap and water but this cannot be guaranteed 
  • Please be advised that you will not be allowed to use the toilet facilities at the property 
  • Please try to avoid touching door handles and any other items unnecessarily 
  • If you do not comply with the above requirements, Greenslade Taylor Hunt or the vendor reserve the right to terminate the viewing and you will be asked politely to leave the premises

For AGRICULTURAL CLIENTS arranging Meetings

Please Note: It is mandatory that you have read, understood and agreed that you will and can comply with this procedure fully, by confirming to us in writing or by email.  
We will be unable to proceed with our appointment until we have received this written confirmation from you.  


When booking an appointment

  • You will be asked if you or any member of your household is showing symptoms or has been asked to self-isolate before going ahead with the appointment.
  • You will be asked if you or any member of your household have been in the presence of anyone showing symptoms or feeling unwell before going ahead with the appointment.
  • Please notify GTH immediately should you or any member of your household develop symptoms in between booking the appointment and the day of the appointment.
  • Our staff will refrain from using your toilet facilities during the appointment.
  • Face to face meetings are to be a last resort and only where the business cannot be conducted via a telephone or zoom call.

During the appointment
  • Please maintain a minimum of 2m distance where possible.
  • Please wear a visor or facemask when in internal and confined spaces.
  • The GTH Professional who visits your property will use hand sanitiser before the appointment and will wear a visor or facemask when inspecting internal and confined spaces
  • The GTH Professional will refrain from touching any items or objects as physically possible.
  • You have the right to ask the GTH Professional to leave should they refuse to comply with any of the above.

For SURVEY CLIENTS - Pre-inspection vendor information and enquiry form

Greenslade Taylor Hunt is doing everything we can to protect our clients, our staff and occupiers of property with whom we interact during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have developed a policy and procedures for inspections of properties which have recently been or are occupied, to enable us to meet the Government guidelines whilst we continue to work in a safe manner.

It is a mandatory requirement that you read through, understand and agree that you can and will comply with our procedures and confirm this to us, prior to our appointment, by signing and returning the requested form. You can download this here or contact your local office.

SAFE INSPECTION
To facilitate a safe inspection of the property, our staff will:

  • Maintain a 2 metre distance from other persons when inspecting the property.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment whilst conducting the inspection. 
  • Sanitise their hands before accessing the property.
  • Refrain from using the toilet facilities during the appointment.
  • Avoid hand shaking/physical contact.
  • Only touch minimal surfaces whilst at the property and use sanitising wipes/gel for hand-sanitising as necessary.
  • Clean equipment with sanitising/disinfectant spray, before entering the property.
  • Ensure staff are in good health and exhibit no signs of Covid-19.
  • Respect the personal space of the vendor and occupiers at all times.

OUR POLITE REQUEST OF YOU
To provide a safe environment and to minimise the inspection time required by the surveyor, we would also request the following:
  • Please ensure you read, fill out and return this form prior to the appointment.
  • Please follow the Government minimum 2 metre distancing advice.
  • Please wear a visor or face mask when in internal and confined spaces during our visit.
  • Pets to be caged or crated and if not possible, kept with the occupier out of the way.
