Ryan is a graduate from Harper Adams University where he studied BSc (Hons) Agri-business. His passion for agriculture, and in particular cattle, comes from being brought up on his family farm where they run a beef suckler herd in Hemyock; with a small consignment of these being owned by Ryan. The love for cattle enticed Ryan in to the world of livestock markets, where he would routinely accompany his parents to Sedgemoor and formerly Taunton before eventually droving part time for Greenslade’s on Saturdays for the best part of seven years in between his studies. Away from agriculture, he can be found either watching or playing both football and rugby, socialising with friends in a local beer garden, or listening to country music.
