Renewables
The Europe-wide commitment to tackling climate change and reducing the use of fossil fuels, continues to see growth in the development and uptake of renewable energy sources.
With the reliance on subsidies now reducing in many renewables sectors, the industry is beginning to “stand on its own two feet” through continued research and innovation, and reducing costs of production.
Whilst there are currently notable grid constraints in the south west of England, opportunities do still exist for land and property owners with suitable sites. Those who have been approached directly by a developer, or who are themselves considering a renewable energy project, are urged to seek early advice from our professionals in order to ensure that they achieve the best possible terms.
Our experts provide advice to landowners on small and large scale on-farm and roof-mounted commercial energy generation, to include site promotion and tendering to developers, negotiation of the best terms for options and leases, undertaking planning applications and feasibility studies, and providing landowner support during project construction.
