About This Property
An excellent 3/4 bedroom semi detached house with a large private rear garden and plenty of parking within easy reach of all amenities. EPC: Band D
The house is believed to date from the 1930's with brick elevations set beneath a fibre slate roof and over time has been extended and upgraded to provide spacious family accommodation. The ground floor layout provides a good size sitting room that opens into the dining room, snug with access to the garden, well fitted kitchen and separate cloakroom. To the first floor are three bedrooms, one providing access to attic bedroom four, and a family bathroom. Heating is provided by a gas fired boiler and radiators with a multifuel stove in the sitting room and there is uPVC double glazing largely throughout. To the front of the property is a wide brick paved parking area and access to the substantial attached garage/workshop. The rear garden enjoys a high degree of privacy and is attractively laid out with lawns, ornamental fish pond, areas of decking and a variety of mature fruit trees including apple, pear and plum.
Set well back from and above the road, the property is within walking distance of the town centre and both senior and junior schools. Chard is well served with a good range of amenities including a choice of major supermarkets, smaller retailers, banks, leisure facilities etc. whilst the County Town of Taunton is just 14 miles to the North with easy access to the M5 motorway. The World Heritage Jurassic Coast is a similar distance to the South at Lyme Regis.

Geraldine White
Assistant Branch Manager
Geraldine started with GTH in Chard in 1993, having previously worked for another company in the town for a number of years, and has been part of the furniture ever since. She is Assistant Branch Manager and a key member of this close knit team. Brought up in Ireland, her family then moved to a very pretty corner of East Devon near Axminster and she has been locally based since the early 1970's. There are two passions in her life, estate agency and horses and on both counts she is fiercely competitive. She hopes to compete with a new horse, a nine-year-old Arab gelding, named Raseem, later in the year. He is a half brother to the mare she has recently retired and Geraldine went all the way to Scotland to get him. Other interests include travelling, reading in the few waking moments left and long walks.
