The term of the agreement is 25 years with a covenant on the owner not to fell, top, lop or destroy the trees during the term of the agreement and for JSW to have a pre-emption for the purchase of the trees at Market Value, replacing those trees which have been removed. The timber is due to be harvested in 2024 which will generate an income of approximately £15,000 to £20,000 depending on market value.
