There is fishing at Clatworthy and Wimbleball reservoirs and miles of footpaths and bridleways locally. The Raleghs Cross Inn is a couple of miles.

There is about 1/2 acre of garden surrounding the house mainly rough lawn with trees, mature shrubs, several sheds and a small barn/store.
