Residential Survey & Valuation

We offer a range of residential property surveys using experienced Chartered Surveyors and Energy Assessors to provide professional property advice across the West Country.

To discuss your survey requirements please contact either the Taunton or Yeovil survey department and we will be happy to explain the choices that are available. Our range of property survey services include:

RICS HomeBuyer Report

Based on a detailed inspection of readily accessible areas, this is a concise report rating the condition of main elements and highlighting major risk concerns. A valuation is included. The report gives clear advice to enable clients to decide whether the property is a reasonable purchase at the agreed price.

Building Survey

A detailed report, with optional photographs, valuation and insurance reinstatement cost figure (if these are requested), based on a detailed inspection. The report includes reference to the construction, visible defects and guidance as appropriate on maintenance and remedial measures. The Building Survey is suitable for property of all types, ages and condition.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

A limited inspection to produce an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This gives the property an energy grading with recommendations on how the energy efficiency can be improved. An energy inspection is now compulsory on most domestic and commercial properties and required before selling or letting.

We also provide Schedules of Condition and dilapidation, refurbishment and repair advice.
