As a qualified Gemmologist and Diamond Grader, Deborah has over 20 years experience in the industry working with New Zealand’s leading jewellery valuation and diamond grading company, based in Auckland. As such, she has gained knowledge in a wide variety of areas, from identifying gemstones, valuation for insurance, diamond and pearl grading and antique jewellery. Deborah has also worked for a wholesale diamond and gem stone company based in Brisbane, Australia, so has developed experience in various aspects of the jewellery industry, both at wholesale and retail level. She is a member of the Jewellery Valuers Society of New Zealand.
