Their older cows were a very strong trade with fresh calved 6th lactation cows to 1500gns and Shorthorn x cows to 1680gns with the 101 forward averaging £1293. Bulling heifers to 840gns for regular consigners JF Cobb & Sons and KR & MK Powell and 830gns for DW Sprackman & Partners Larchcover herd with yearlings to the same money for the Pensdown herd of JAW Bendall & Sons of Bath for two Secretariat daughters. Heifers calves to 420gns x 4 for JF Cobb & Sons.
