Felicity Sinclair has successfully completed her apprenticeship in administration at the Development Land and Planning Department of Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
Due to Covid the 18-month apprenticeship process was extended to 21 months.
Felicity said: “I chose to do an apprenticeship because I thought that it would suit my way of learning and to also get experience in a work environment.”
An apprenticeship provides a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid.
As part of her apprenticeship Felicity had to come up with a project that would save the department money.
Felicity found the most effective CAD system for the architecture team and then had to produce a report on the work and give a powerpoint presentation to an assessor and complete a test.
During her apprenticeship Felicity has had to compile a portfolio of her work and provide evidence that she is meeting the criteria necessary to pass her apprenticeship.
In her spare time she enjoy socialising with friends, spending time with her family and painting her nails!
