Land on Offer in Popular Commuter Location

March 2022

A site with outline planning consent for up to 25no. homes plus the necessary infrastructure in the favoured village of Lee Mill, near Ivybridge, is being marketed by sole agents Greenslade Taylor Hunt.

The residential development site off New Park Road, Lee Mill, extends to around 2.84 acres (1.15 hectares) and abuts the settlement boundary for the village.

The location is well placed for easy access to Ivybridge, Plymouth and Exeter by road, rail and bus – a service runs 24/7 between Bristol and Plymouth.

Outline planning permission for up to 25no. homes, with a number of conditions, was granted by South Hams District Council in October 2021.

The approved scheme would allow for 17no. open market and 8no. affordable properties. Of the affordable homes 5no. would be social rented and 3no. would be intermediate.

The successful developer will be expected to contribute approximately £395,850 in Section 106 Agreements. This will include highways, education and recreation improvements.

Offers are invited on an unconditional basis. The deadline for the submission of offers is 12 noon on Friday, May 6, 2022.
