Back in 2012, Paul joined the team in Chard and soon the office was flying; which it still is today. James Waterman, his former colleague and current Residential Manager in Chard, remembers him with real fondness and has many amusing anecdotes from their time working together.
Known as ‘Action Man’ to his colleagues, he towered over most with his 6’ 4” frame and was always active and full of energy. There was no stopping his mountain biking, coasteering, kayaking and all sorts of other adrenalin fuelled adventures. He even brought the team along for the ride on occasions, as well as taking them out for drinks and enjoying social time together. He really helped the team bond and get closer as well as having fun while they worked.
Paul leaves behind a devoted partner, Sarah, and two daughters, Hannah and Lucy. They adored Paul and cared for him throughout his battle with the disease.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Paul’s family and friends at this most difficult time and have donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association in his memory. You can help support their work and find out more here: www.mndassociation.org
