Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt report a steady trade throughout for their Autumn Gold Collective Dairy Sale at Sedgemoor Auction Centre.  Fresh milk topped at 1820gns for a Galaxy sired heifer giving 35kgs for DC Dennis & Son Ltd with other Dinnaton bred heifers at 1700gns.

Freshly calved cows to 1750gns for TR Quick’s Mendip Seaver Sunbeam and 1720gns for DC Dennis & Son Ltd Dinnaton Brad Grafeeti Honor.

Three Pedigree British Friesian bulls from JC & FC Tripconey created a lot of interest and sold to 2600gns twice firstly for Goonhilly Thomas who is full brother to Joseph at Cogent and then for Goonhilly Solomon an outcross bull.

Anton Smith concluded the dispersal of his robot milked herd selling to 1800gns for a fresh second calver by Alta Esquire. Calved heifers to 1620gns.

Crossbred incalf cows and heifers from The Woodhorn Group, Sussex sold to 1050gns twice for November calving heifers.
