MEET THE AUCTIONEERS

Derek Biss

A dairy farmer’s son from Castle Cary, Derek recently celebrated 40 years with GTH. He heads up the farm sales team and is on the Arbitrator’s panel for specialist livestock valuations as well as managing his livestock farm in the Vale of Taunton.

Sally Mitchell

The daughter of a Dorset dairy farmer, Sally was well placed to start selling dairy cattle in 2001 when she became an associate. Her involvement with the farm sales department has continued over the past 20 years and she became a Partner in 2020.

Tom Mellor

Tom relocated to Sedgemoor when it opened its doors in 2008 and became a Partner in 2020. He carries out a variety of professional work and heads up machinery sales. He is an auctioneer at Sedgemoor, selling sheep on Saturdays.

Andrew Clements

Andy has now been selling dairy cattle, calves and machinery for over 13 years. During his time he has built up the pedigree section, bringing the National Holstein Sale to Sedgemoor, where he sold the top price of 15,000gns and staging the annual...

James Wotton

James can be found on a Saturday at Sedgemoor Auction Centre selling the calves and fodder, as well as being part of the farm sales team. He also heads up our new Ivybridge office.
