Hardworking Henry gains key qualification
March 2025
Early morning and late-night studying have paid off for Henry Worle who has just become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Henry is based at Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s busy Redhill office where he undertakes a wide range of rural professional work.
Henry credits this varied workload as a key component in his recent exam success.
“I had plenty of practical experience to draw upon,” said Henry.
Robert Baker MRICS, FAAV, Partner, who heads up the Redhill office, said: “Heny is a key member of the Redhill team and carries out a large variety of professional work.
Obtaining his RICS accreditation is very well deserved and will elevate him to the next stage of his career.”
Henry enjoys all aspects of his work.
“Every day is different. The variety of tasks that a land agent does day-to-day appeals,” he said.
One of his roles at Redhill involves all aspects of the firm’s successful property and land auctions. He enjoys the buzz of the saleroom, but also the initial contacts with vendors and potential buyers.
His studying continues as he is now working towards his CAAV qualifications. The Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) is a specialist professional body representing around 3,000 members practising in a diverse range of agricultural and rural work in the UK and Northern Ireland.
A career in agriculture and rural affairs was always on the cards for Henry, who grew up on his family’s small farm in North Somerset just a stone’s throw away from the Redhill office.
Henry obtained a degree in rural enterprise and land management before joining GTH as a graduate surveyor.
He combines work alongside playing several sports, house renovations and continuing to help out on his family’s farm where lambing is currently in full swing.
