New appointments at GTH Ivybridge
April 2026
The agricultural expertise of the team at Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s Ivybridge office has been broadened with the addition of new colleagues.
The firm, which has offices across Devon, Dorset and Somerset, set up a branch focussing on rural affairs in 8 Erme Court, Ivybridge, in May 2023.
It extended its reach to include residential sales two years ago and now is strengthening its agricultural and professional services offer with the appointment of three new members of staff.
Michael Pedrick MRICS FAAV and Russell Thomas MRICS FAAV bring years of experience having worked extensively as rural surveyors and valuers in the South Hams, Teignbridge, Dartmoor and surrounding areas.
Tracey Slatter is from a farming family and has provided secretarial and admin support for Michael for many years.
James Wotton MRICS FAAV, Partner in Charge of the Ivybridge office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Michael, Russell and Tracey to GTH.
We have a shared ethos and commitment to farming and landowning clients in the region and we look forward to supporting them for years to come.
It is great to be able to offer clients decades of experience in the local area coupled with the resources of Greenslade Taylor Hunt to provide the greatest service.
The Professional Services, Agricultural Services & Farm Agency team in Ivybridge, takes pride in its experience, local knowledge and proactive attitude.
In March the team staged its first successful property and land auction at Shilstone, Ivybridge, where the Cockington Visitor Centre, Torquay, sold for £241,000 – three times its pre-sale estimate.
Both Michael and Russell have wide-ranging experience of professional work including agency, valuation, planning, agricultural, environment, compensation, landlord and tenant, auctioneering and farm sales.
Michael grew up in South Devon and followed his father into the land agency profession and studied Rural Land Management at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester.
After a spell with a firm of Dorset land agents’ where he qualified as a chartered surveyor he returned to his Devon roots. He has more than 30-years’ experience in the Devon rural property market, working as a partner in a well-respected local firm before his move to Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
Russell graduated from Harper Adams University College in 2011. He has worked in the South Hams region for a decade.
Away from work Russell, who grew up on a sheep and beef farm, is a supporter of Welsh rugby, although he has not had much to cheer of late, as the team finished bottom in the Six Nations.
