At Home in Somerset - Five Featured Properties

Somerset Day is being celebrated this year across the county on the 9th & 10th May.

With the aim of promoting and showcasing everything that makes this corner of the West Country so special, it has been set up and run by Passion for Somerset, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company to help support events, share stories and encourage businesses, schools and community groups to take part.

Here at GTH we are proud to be firmly rooted in the West Country, with Somerset at the heart of our 183 year heritage.

Whilst Somerset can sometimes be overlooked in comparison to the neighbouring counties of Dorset and Devon, this diverse region also has much to offer. Dramatic landscapes range from the world renowned Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury Tor, through the Somerset Levels and no less than four National Landscapes right across to the coastline along the north of the county.

But it’s not only the scenery that is celebrated here. Long standing traditions such as cider making, the carnival scene, village folk festivals and not forgetting Glastonbury Music Festival all add to the vitality of the county and the people that call it home.

Whether you are thinking of relocating from outside the area, or are already settled here, Somerset offers something for everyone and has an extensive range of properties across towns, villages and hamlets to suit all tastes and criteria.

We are excited to showcase five properties from across the region to celebrate the variety on offer.
