Glorious Gardens: Supporting Nature and Community Care
This season, we are excited to sponsor St Margaret’s Hospice’s ‘Glorious Gardens’ event which celebrates the beauty and serenity that gardens bring into our lives whilst raising much needed funds for the Hospice.
As long-term headline sponsors of the event, we are proud to support this wonderful cause again this year. They aim to not only bring awareness to the importance of compassionate care but also encourage a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that gardens provide.
A Blooming Partnership for a Worthy Cause
This year is particularly special for St Margaret’s Hospice as they are celebrating 45 years of providing free hospice care in Somerset.
The “Glorious Gardens” event, which runs throughout the spring and summer across Somerset and Dorset, features 45 gardens where the owners have supported this worthwhile cause by opening up to the public.
Visitors will have the opportunity to roam a range of spectacular private gardens, partake in guided tours, enjoy light refreshments and explore various garden styles and layouts to inspire their own outdoor spaces.
By supporting St Margaret's Hospice, we hope to cultivate a sense of community, offering an opportunity for locals to contribute to a vital service that supports those in need during challenging times.
Every ticket purchased and donation made will go directly to St Margaret's Hospice, ensuring that families receive the care and support they deserve.
The Benefits of Gardening
Gardens are more than just aesthetically pleasing; they can boost mental health, encourage physical activity, and foster a connection with nature. The act of gardening has been proven to reduce stress and promote mindfulness, making it an essential component of a balanced lifestyle.
Whether you’re nurturing a vegetable patch, creating a flower garden, or designing a landscape for relaxation, the effort you put into your garden is ultimately rewarding.
The "Glorious Gardens" event shows how accessible gardening can be regardless of age, needs or abilities and highlights the importance of outdoor spaces for relaxation and reflection in all our lives.
Your Invitation
We invite you to visit as many of the gardens as you can during the “Glorious Gardens” event, whether you’re a gardening enthusiast or just looking to appreciate the beauty of nature.
Join us in supporting St Margaret's Hospice and celebrate the incredible power of gardens in enhancing our homes and our lives. Together, we can make a significant impact, one bloom at a time.
