Cornwall calls for potential development sites

March 2024

Cornwall Council is undertaking a ‘Call for Sites’, inviting landowners and developers to identify land available for development. Submissions will be assessed by the Council and favoured sites could be allocated for development in the next Local Plan.

The council is seeking submissions covering a wide range of development types including for housing, employment, energy generation and community facilities. They are even seeking sites with potential for delivering nutrient mitigation and biodiversity net gain.

Sites must be submitted by 22nd April 2024. If you are a landowner who would like to put forward your site, but are unsure how to proceed, why not contact the development land and planning experts at Greenslade Taylor Hunt, who have expertise to make representations for and on your behalf.

Our experts can also assist in identifying either land promoters or developers to enter into either Promotion, Hybrid or Option Agreements to promote your sites to achieve planning permission for development and the maximisation of its value across the South West region.
