Site with permission for homes at Holsworthy
October 2024
Development land specialists Greenslade Taylor Hunt are marketing an attractive residential development site on the edge of a popular Devon town, which has approval for a substantial housing scheme.
The site off Trewyn Road and Rydon Road, Holsworthy, extends to approximately 10.3 hectares (25.5 acres) and has outline approval for up to 200 homes.
In February 2024, Torridge District Council granted reserved matters consent for 195 homes, subject to a number of conditions.
The site sits across five fields and will provide a mix of open market and affordable homes – 70% open market and 30% affordable.
The scheme will be accessed from both Trewyn Road and Rydon Road, which will require the creation of two new junctions.
Offers are invited on an unconditional and conditional basis (conditional upon grant of a new reserved matters consent or a section 73 application, expiry of the Judicial Review challenge period and being free from challenge).
The deadline for the submission of offers is midday on Friday, November 29.
