Strategic Land In Teignmouth Comes To Market

A potential residential development site, subject to the necessary planning, is being marketed by development land and planning experts Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
The land North of Moorview Drive, Teignmouth, extends to around 10.8 hectares (26.7 acres) and sits on the edge of the town. It falls outside, but abuts, the built-up area and development boundary of the town.
Recently published data shows Teignmouth District Council delivered 1,712 dwellings according to the Housing Delivery Test in 2025.
It has a requirement of 2,220 homes over the 2022-2025 monitoring period. This under-delivery highlights the continued need for additional housing and presents an opportunity for sustainable residential development to come forward.
Recent changes to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) also favour development to meet housing needs.
