Action Man Owen Relishes New Homes Role

July 2023

Owen Setter MNAEA enjoys seeking new opportunities – not content with completing the London Marathon and undertaking the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge this year - he has just been appointed Head Of New Homes at Greenslade Taylor Hunt.

Having worked in the property industry since 2009 he has a passion for all aspects of the business. He relocated to the West Country in 2017 and joined GTH in Yeovil. Since 2020 he has headed up the firm’s Langport office and now has been selected to lead the partnership’s expanding New Homes Team.

Mark Chugg MRICS, Partner in charge of the department, said: “Owen is ideally placed for his new role having worked as Residential Manager at Langport and built-up professional relationships with other managers across the firm’s network of offices in Somerset, Devon and Dorset. He has also worked with a number of housebuilders on new homes projects and his latest position will allow him to cement this further.”

“I have a good relationship with key developers. My aim is to improve communication between the offices and the New Homes department,” Owen explained.

He has worked closely with his predecessor and will use this experience to enhance the first-class customer service provided by the team.

Based beside the M5 at Taunton the new homes team is part of the firm’s Development Land and Planning Department and helps with all types of development projects – from a unique one-off build to a bespoke estate.

Customer satisfaction is at the heart of Owen’s ethos and he enjoys motivating his team to deliver superb, service.

Away from work Owen continues to set himself challenges. He ran the London Marathon for Tommy’s, the charity which funds research into baby loss in April. He has also just undertaken the Three Peaks Challenge for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance along with colleagues Dale Blackmore and Samuel Powell.
