Chloe makes the lettings grade

December 2025

Hard work and juggling study with her day job has paid off for Chloe Russell who has now earned the right to put MARLA after her name.

The property professional, who heads up the lettings team at Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s Tiverton office, has just gained her membership of the Association of Residential Letting Agents.

The industry’s professional body aims to drive up standards in the lettings market. It gives both landlords and tenants confidence and reassurance that they are dealing with people well versed in all the intricacies and responsibilities of the residential lettings sector.

There is no requirement for people working within lettings to belong to a professional body and anyone can set up an agency.

However, Greenslade Taylor Hunt and its staff are committed to providing the best customer service experience and to this end lettings staff members are supported through additional training to ensure they offer tenants and landlords the most up-to-date information on the sector.

Chloe studied business at Petroc College, Tiverton, before embarking on her lettings career initially in administration before becoming a lettings negotiator in the town, where she has lived for many years.

She joined GTH in 2022 where she is responsible for a wide area covering Tiverton, Cullompton, Willand, Uffculme, and surrounding villages.

Currently demand for two-bedroom properties is outstripping supply with a mailing list of eager would-be tenants looking for this type of home.

Away from work Chloe enjoys walking her dogs, greyhound Sasha, and deerhound, Wookey. She also likes going to concerts and sampling great local food.

To find out how she can help with your rental property needs whether you are a landlord or tenant please call 01884 243000 or pop into the office at 5 Fore Street, Tiverton.
