Customer Service Reaps Gold Award Again!

August 2026

The highly experienced lettings team at Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s Taunton office are celebrating after being crowned the best in the town in the British Property Awards for the second year in a row.

The hardworking team headed by Amy Davidson MARLA, who has nearly two decades of experience in the property sector, are well-placed to advise landlords and tenants alike on the latest legislation affecting the industry.

With the Renters Rights Act now law – the biggest shake up in the rental market in years – it is vital to have property professionals who understand the new legislation and the implications for landlords letting out properties.

Without proper guidance from knowledgeable lettings practitioners it would be easy for landlords to fall foul of the new legislation and potentially face hefty fines.

Amy and her team can assist landlords through the often complex, process of renting out a property and ensure peace of mind for landlords and tenants alike.

To this end the current lettings landscape will be the focus of a seminar hosted jointly by GTH and Porter Dodson, on Monday, September 14, at Taunton Vale Sports Club, from 7pm-9pm.

Amy, Associate and Senior Lettings Manager at GTH, will provide an update on current rental market conditions following the introduction of the Renters' Rights Act. Will Bartley, Senior Associate, Dispute Resolution at Porter Dodson, will present on the legal implications of the Act.

This will include advice for landlords on the eviction process (as well as an explanation of the new and amended Section 8 eviction grounds), tenancy compliance, and the future of lettings legislation moving forward.
