A return to the Wells office of well-regarded West Country property experts Greenslade Taylor Hunt marks a homecoming for Chris Hood ANAEA.
Chris worked alongside Simon Havens, now Partner in charge of the Residential Department at GTH, to establish a branch in the city back in 2012.
Now Chris has returned to his GTH roots, with a wealth of experience of the local property market, to head up the residential sales team at the thriving Wells office – part of a network of branches across Somerset, Dorset and Devon.
The majority of Chris’s 20-years plus career has been spent finding homes for clients in the beautiful cathedral city and its surrounding attractive villages.
Chris knows and loves the Mid Somerset area, living in the city with his young family.
He thrives on the buzz of the ever-changing property industry, but his ethos remains focused on customer service.
“My primary role as an estate agent remains the same as it did as a trainee back in 2003, to match people with property and provide clients with a service they will remember.
‘’Getting to know my clients and their individual needs, coupled with providing honest, straight-talking and constructive advice has always been key,” he explained.
Chris values building bonds with new and former vendors and purchasers.
‘’One of the joys of my job is acting for clients who have either sold through me in the past, or for those I have been fortunate enough to deal with when purchasing their existing home. Building long lasting relationships with those moving home has always been an important part of my role,” he said.
