New Appointments At Busy Lettings Department

Leading lettings agents Greenslade Taylor Hunt are strengthening their team at Bridgwater with three key appointments.
Claire Campbell, who has a decade’s experience in the industry, has recently taken up the role of Lettings Manager at the branch at High Street, Bridgwater, having relocated to the West Country.
She is joined by lettings negotiator Hannah Fogarty and property inspector Heather Hoar.
The team is completed by Gemma Cooper, lettings administrator, who has worked for GTH for nearly seven years.
Now the team are anticipating a busy time ahead with lots of demand for rural and town properties, from one-bedroom apartments to larger family homes.
Claire started her career in lettings by accident, but it has proved to be a shrewd move.
“I was looking for my own house and I enjoyed looking around houses and a job came up,” she explained.
Claire’s lettings career took off and she has worked in the sector for the past 10 years.
She is familiar with all the challenges of the lettings industry and is up-to-date with the impact of the Renters’ Rights Act – the biggest upheaval in the sector in years.
From May 1, 2026 a number of changes came into effect including:
• Abolition of Section 21
• End of Fixed-Term Tenancies
• Rent Increases
• Ban on Rental Bidding
• Rental Restrictions
• Pets
• Rent in Advance
These regulations all have a major impact on landlords and tenants alike.
Failure to comply with some of the new rules could result in a hefty fine.
