Tara Wins South West Lettings Accolade

A chance glance into an estate agent’s window has led to a successful career for Tara Webb, who heads up Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s Honiton Lettings Department.
Tara has just won gold and been named the best letting agent in Devon in the British Property Awards.
The national awards were established to help consumers trying to make an informed decision on which estate agent or letting agent to consider working with.
Established six years ago the awards dig into the detail of what makes a good agency.
Mystery shoppers put each office through a comprehensive range of customer service focused benchmarks to determine the best in a particular town or region.
The Honiton office at 111 High Street has won gold for both its lettings and estate agency service.
Tara joined the team five years ago and has built up the thriving Lettings Department.
“The personal touch is the most important thing,” explained Tara, who enjoys the variety the job offers.
Her lettings career began by accident after she spotted an advert in an estate agent’s window looking for full-time staff. She applied immediately – only discovering at the interview that the post was within the lettings department.
Having secured the job and finding she had a flair for lettings she subsequently worked for two of the largest letting agencies in the UK before she moved to Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s Honiton branch.
Tara is a key member of the Honiton team. She enjoys the whole process of helping landlords and tenants and has a keen eye and attention to detail to ensure everything is carried out smoothly and professionally.
“I enjoy the variety that lettings provide,” she said.
Currently all types of property are in demand with an emphasis on town rather than more rural properties.
